Cobham Hall — campus and grounds

Welcome to Cobham Hall Cobham Hall is a Day and Boarding School for girls and boys aged 11-19, offering a nurturing environment where students grow academically, personally and with global understanding. The School is set within a beautiful 16th-century manor withing 150 acres of historic parkland, just 30-minutes from central London.

Cobham Hall combines an idyllic rural setting with excellent connections to London. Here, students are encouraged to be themselves, try new experiences and and build the confidence and skills to success in a changing world. Our approach is guided by the Round Square IDEALS and our Personal Discover Framework, supporting students to develop character, curiosity and wellbeing alongside strong academic foundations.

Small class sizes (between 10-15), exceptional teaching and a rich co-curricular programme help every student explore their interests and reach their potential.

Pastoral care and staffing Rated "excellent" by the Independent Schools' Inspectorate, Cobham Hall's pastoral care is supportive and nurturing. That's why our size is of such benefit; when everyone knows everyone else, and when Sixth Form students happily chat to Year 7 girls, you feel like part of a unique family.

We believe it is our role to look after not just our students' academic education, but and nurture the development of the whole . Central to our ethos is the belief that to learn and develop effectively, students need to be happy and comfortable in their environment.

Cobham Hall — boarding house life

When we ask our boarders what words they would use to describe Cobham Hall Boarding, we get 'never boring', 'friends forever' and 'laughter'. From outings with other Year Groups to whole School events, our Boarding community is, as you'd expect, a family.

Whether a Boarder or a day student, there are 'Buddies' - students allocated from the year above to help you settle in. There are also Heads of House, chosen by their peers to act as liaisons between the students and the Houseparents, and of course, the Houseparents themselves, always armed with a smile and a ready ear to listen - whether you need a serious chat or a someone to share a joke with.

We can arrange trusted UK guardianship for international families.
