Farlington School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school and nursery for ages 6 months to 18 years. We are a school that values individuality, celebrates diversity and encourages our students to have the confidence to think for themselves, whilst emphasising the importance of tolerance, teamwork and collective responsibility.
It is our goal that our students leave Farlington as well-educated young people with strong interpersonal skills and a broad range of interests. They will have the confidence to pursue their personal goals and to make a positive contribution to the wider community.
We are extremely proud of our consistently successful examination results throughout the Lower, Middle and Senior Schools.

Each child at Farlington, from Nursery through to Sixth Form, is known and valued as an individual, and contributes uniquely to our happy, successful and purposeful environment. What the school is known for? A Farlington education can be summed up in our three core values: Individuality, Opportunity and Community.
Individuality Celebrate individuality and encourage pupils to be true to themselves, helping them to develop resilience and self-worth. Teachers meet pupils at their point of need, challenging and supporting them to strive for personal and academic excellence.

What pupils study at Farlington — and where it takes them.

become optional, allowing them to specialize and pursue their own interests. Our academic staff care deeply about teaching and learning and strive to give engaging lessons that will allow their pupils to succeed to the best of their ability.
We all hope that all pupils will find something to interest and motivate them in every subject, not just their favourite ones! Year 7 - Joining Year 7 is a milestone, with so many new things to experience. One of the aspects of school life we want our pupils to enjoy is our curriculum because, besides all the fun, friendship and enrichment activities they will be experiencing, our principal activity is, of course, academic learning.

In the boarding house, we endeavour to provide a relaxed, caring, 'home-from-home' environment, where the boarders feel happy and secure. It is our intention that every boarder feels that he or she is a trusted member of the boarding community, and reciprocates appropriately.
The large age span of the Boarding House creates a genuine 'family feel', and each boarder is welcomed by peers and differing age alike. All boarders are accommodated under the same roof, and boys and girls are able to share the communal areas such as the kitchens, office and common rooms, which we believe greatly enhances the feeling of being part of a family.
A genuine home away from home

The Boarding House at Farlington School is co-educational, and located in the main Mansion House. As such, there is much interaction between all of the girls and boys, with all the boarders coming together for morning and evening meals, and a variety of activities.
The Mansion Houses provides a where both boys and girls are accepted for themselves, where they are encouraged to be kind and considerate of one another's needs. There are two communal living areas - places where students can mix with other students of similar ages, irrespective of race, religion, and cultural and linguistic background.
