Fyling Hall is a small school with a large heart. We are situated in a breath-taking location overlooking the picturesque coastline of Robin Hood's Bay, within the scenic environment of the North York Moors National Park, with fresh air and natural beauty in abundance.
Fyling Hall provides a quality education, with excellent results, while becoming a second home for children from overseas. We are a non-selective, co-educational school with a friendly, family atmosphere, where pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do.
We ensure a nurturing and inspiring environment for our students.

Over the past 100 years countless lifelong friendships have been forged within our community - a few even leading eventually to marriage! Boarding School is an unrivalled way for young people to develop self-reliance, adaptability, tolerance and the ability to live and work with others.

Our boarding community has a family feel and our boarding houses play a crucial role in creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our boarding team create a fun and relaxed environment where both pupils and parents feel supported by experienced staff.
This environment allows our boarders to develop socially, academically and mature emotionally in a secure and stable environment. Fyling Hall has many nationalities represented and we all learn from each other. Girls and boys stay in separate houses within the school in rooms with 1 - 4 students of similar ages.

Special notes to agents about entry to the school Fyling Hall is a non-selective school and has no entrance exams. We are a co-educational school and we accept boarders from age 11 to 18. If places remain we are happy to receive late applications and applications to start part-way through the year.
We offer short-term stays and one-term stays as well as English immersion visits as a group or individually. We offer Cambridge English exams and IGCSE ESL. We also offer practical, vocational performing arts courses. Fyling Hall performs well academically and is excellent for value-added, most students gain a at their first choice University, including Oxford / Cambridge but we also have a strong SEN department to individuals.
