We are lucky at Glenalmond College to be situated in 300 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside which forms a backdrop to the College and an unrivalled environment for outdoor pursuits. Our campus comprises an outstanding mix of traditional and contemporary buildings set alongside extensive sports facilities - a unique setting providing freedom and space away from the distractions of the city yet within easy reach of the main Scottish cities and airports.
All of our full time teaching staff live on the campus. What the school is known for? Glenalmond is a proper, FULL boarding school. Over 80% of our pupils are full boarders, and the school is as busy on a Saturday or Sunday as it is during the week.

The department energises pupils by offering a wide range of theatrical opportunities, instilling confidence in every student, not just in their Drama lessons but in all their pursuits. From the junior years through to GCSE and A Level, we encourage pupils to develop their skills, interests, and enjoyment of Drama through practical activities that complement and inform their written work.

In addition, 87% of Glenalmond leavers this year have been accepted into their first choice of university. Their chosen courses showcase the breadth of ambition and talent at Glenalmond, ranging from Biology, Chinese, Countryside Management, Earth Science and Modern Languages to two pupils embarking on Medicine degrees at St Andrews and Dundee.

Lessons on a Saturday morning and sports matches in the afternoon, along with outings on a Sunday, mean Glenalmond has a full seven-day programme to educate, inspire and stretch young minds. More than this, Glenalmond life is also about having fun; however you relax, from baking to building woodland shelters, there is a lot of choice on campus.

Honesty spans everything from not taking someone's rugby socks without asking, right through to being honest about how much effort is being put into school life. A sense of perspective is essential: there is no better tonic than the company of one's friends to generate this.
