Founded in 1555, Gresham's is an authentic boarding and day school providing a rounded education to boys and girls aged two to 18. The school has excellent facilities spanning a 200-acre site, set just four miles from the breathtaking North Norfolk coast.

Gresham's provides a broad and enriching education, enabling pupils to discover their own talents and develop into confident, well-rounded individuals. The Dyson Building The Dyson Building opened at Gresham's in September 2021. Sir James Dyson, a former pupil at the school, enabled the innovative new centre for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education.

Creativity and original thinking have always been the cornerstones of a Gresham's education; the Dyson Building establishes state-of-the-art facilities to see this continue .

As an All-Steinway School, the facilities across the department and performance spaces are world-class. The outstanding 140-seat Recital Hall hosts many concerts, recitals and informal performances throughout the year to offer opportunities for musicians of all abilities and styles, to share their music making with the school audiences and wider communities.

and up to three languages. In Years 10 and 11, pupils study up to ten IGCSE and GCSE subjects which enables them to keep open a wide diversity of career opportunities. The School offers a one-year programme for Year 11 joiners called the Pre-IB course.

In the Sixth Form, pupils can choose to follow the IB Diploma Programme, a portfolio of three A level subjects, or to replace one or two A levels with BTEC diplomas. All the routes provide a rigorous academic background opening up for pupils a wide range of university options and career pathways.

School is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. It is our wish at Gresham's to develop the full potential of every pupil by providing a safe and caring environment. The school prides itself on its excellent pastoral care provision which underpins the full character education provided to all our pupils.

The Gresham's ethos is that respect should be shown to all; teacher to pupil, pupil to teacher as well as pupil to pupil and to the wider community. All pupils belong to a House system and there are two Houses at Gresham's Prep School (one for boys one for girls) and seven Houses at Gresham's Senior School (four for boys and three for girls).

There are 7 boarding houses (3 girls and 4 boys). All the boarding houses accommodate children from age 13 - 19. International pupils are mixed into the houses to encourage their integration. Dyson House (Boys and Girls) Boarding is at the heart of Gresham's Prep School and all pupils have the option to board, whether full time, weekly or flexi boarding.

Dyson House has two separate boarding wings for boys and girls and boarders come together for meals and evening activities each day. We also have two homely social spaces for the pupils to use during the day: Crossways House for girls and Kenwyn House for boys, where the children can relax and play together inside if they wish.
