The school prides itself on its excellent pastoral care provision which underpins the full character education provided to all our pupils.
The Gresham's ethos is that respect should be shown to all; teacher to pupil, pupil to teacher as well as pupil to pupil and to the wider community. All pupils belong to a House system and there are two Houses at Gresham's Prep School (one for boys one for girls) and seven Houses at Gresham's Senior School (four for boys and three for girls).
A genuine home away from home

There are 7 boarding houses (3 girls and 4 boys). All the boarding houses accommodate children from age 13 - 19. International pupils are mixed into the houses to encourage their integration. Dyson House (Boys and Girls) Boarding is at the heart of Gresham's Prep School and all pupils have the option to board, whether full time, weekly or flexi boarding.
Dyson House has two separate boarding wings for boys and girls and boarders come together for meals and evening activities each day. We also have two homely social spaces for the pupils to use during the day: Crossways House for girls and Kenwyn House for boys, where the children can relax and play together inside if they wish.
