KPS is a small, independent, co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11 to 18 in the heart of cosmopolitan central London. Our central purpose is, above all, to realise and release potential, and our students are excited, challenged, and inspired to become the best possible version of themselves.
Split across two sites on either side of Hyde Park, the Senior School is situated on Bark Place, while the Sixth Form (ages 16 to 18) on Queen's Gate is in the museum quarter near Imperial College and overlooks the Natural History Museum . Boarding is available to students aged 13 to 17 in the School's state-of-the-art boarding house, located within easy reach of the School.
Many of London's best known historical and cultural landmarks are within walking distance.
We offer both the one-year GCSE and two-year GCSE programme, as well as the two-year A level programme. In the Sixth Form, students not only prepare for exceptional exam results, but for life beyond KPS, and every year our leavers secure offers for competitive undergraduate courses at leading Russell Group and worldwide universities.
Outside the classroom, students are supported by an outstanding system of pastoral care, while our extensive co-curricular programme ensures students develop as well-rounded individuals. Our purpose-built theatre, music studio and art rooms offer exceptional facilities for music, drama and art, and our location on the edge of Hyde Park provides excellent sporting and cultural opportunities.

to choose from. In the Senior School, students in Years 7, 8, and 9 study a broad range of subjects before embarking on the two-year GCSE programme which starts in Year 10. In addition, all Senior School students participate in PSHE and Physical Education, and have one Games session one afternoon per week.
Boarding is available to students from Year 9. We also offer a one-year GCSE programme for British and international students alike who are transferring from another system of study and/or do not meet the requirements for direct entry onto the two-year A level programme.

Boarding at our school Full-board accommodation is available to students aged 13 and above in our state-of-the-art Boarding House, located just 15 minutes' walk away from the Sixth Form and a short tube ride from the Senior School. With its bright, open, and modern spaces, our boarding accommodation is amongst the best in London, if not the country.
Students are accommodated in single, twin or triple rooms; all rooms are en-suite with a small kitchenette and high-speed wifi. Facilities include: All rooms feature en-suite bathroom and kitchenette Dining room serving breakfast and dinner, and common room where students can socialise Live-in academic staff and house parents available 24 hours a day to ensure students welfare and safety High speed internet access throughout the building Secure access for students only using electronic swipe key CCTV coverage in all public areas Laundry facilities, free to use Pastoral care and staffing Our boarding house features live-in house parents who act in loco parentis and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, monitoring students' health, happiness and wellbeing, as well as their academic progress, as they live and study away from home.
A genuine home away from home
Kensington Park School has one boarding house, Princess Beatrice House, which accommodates students aged 13 to 17. The boarding house is located in quiet, leafy Earl's Court, just a 15 minute walk away from the Sixth Form, and 3 short tube stops away from the Senior School.
Students can choose from single, twin, or triple rooms, although younger students will generally be accommodated in shared rooms for safeguarding and wellbeing purposes. Boarders will share with students of their own age group (i. e. under 16s together, and over 16s together), and boys and girls are separated by floor.
We can arrange trusted UK guardianship for international families.

We will consider short term stays of one, two, or three terms at KPS Sixth Form for students aged 16 to 17. Unfortunately, we cannot consider short term stays for students aged under 16. We will consider mid-year transfers for all year except Years 11 and Years 13 on a case-by-case basis.
Special notes to agents about entry to the school As a small school, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and personalised approach, and this extends to our admissions and recruitment process. While the school does have established entrance criteria and a selective admissions procedure with entrance tests and interviews, each application is considered on a case-by-case basis, and we exercise discretion in assessing individual candidates.
