Kent College, Canterbury is an outstanding day and boarding school that celebrates both its 137 years of history and tradition, and its forward-looking, innovative approach to education. It has a reputation as a friendly school and is most definitely a where teachers really get to know the pupils, with the time and space to give individual attention, both academically and pastorally.

Music, drama and sport all play central roles in the life of the school, and many pupils also enjoy the opportunities provided by the school's working farm where students can attend the Farm Club and take horse riding lessons. Part of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust, Kent College is deeply rooted in the Methodist tradition that welcomes all pupils of every faith and none.

'Do all the good you can do' is a guiding principle, and one that allows pupils to develop into confident young adults, aware of their responsibilities and their in the world.

The majority of the pupils come from the local community, with almost a third being made up of boarders who come from over 40 different countries. The Junior School at Vernon Holme is a mile away. The Senior School sits in 80 acres of land with 26 acres of sports fields, grazing for the school farm and ancient woodland for walking and cross country running.

Part of the Methodist Schools group, Kent College is deeply rooted in the Methodist tradition that welcomes all pupils of every faith and none. It has a well-developed pastoral system and a reputation as a friendly and welcoming school. A good general education is provided and examination results are consistently good; Kent College has recently been recognised as a world school and is delighted to be able to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma alongside it's A Level courses.
