Who are we Langley School is an independent co-ed day and boarding school in Norfolk with two 100-acre campuses, both featuring beautiful woodland, grounds and space to explore. At our Prep School in Taverham, we start at Nursery and go up to Year 8 (6 months to 13 years old).

At our Senior School in Loddon, we go from Year 6 to Upper Sixth (10 to 18 years old) and we offer boarding facilities on a full boarding, weekly boarding and flexi-boarding basis. We are experts. In 2024 our Nursery was classed as Ofsted outstanding, and our Senior School was described by ISI inspectors as an environment of 'trust and inclusivity'.

Langley School has been recognised in The Times and The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025, listing the best schools in the UK, and published on 6 December 2024.

We aim to instil a lifelong love of learning and for our pupils to relish grappling with new concepts. Alongside the core curriculum of English, Maths and Science, pupils can expect to experience Food Preparation and Nutrition, Fine Art, Design and Technology, a range of languages (including Mandarin), Drama, Music, History, Geography, Philosophy and Theology.

Years 9 to 11Pupils continue to be stretched by the learning experiences open to them alongside their academic studies for GCSE and BTEC exams. This will include speakers, exhibitions and theatre productions, field trips, entering competitions as well as the opportunity to extend their personal interests through our lively Activities programme.

Langley Boarding House (Boys and Girls) A home away from home Our stunning 110 acres of Grade I listed grounds offer the ideal setting in which to grow up. Langley offers a home where our boarders can live and learn together, forge lifelong friendships and become part of a caring and supportive environment.

Our boarding family is made up of pupils and students who live locally, regionally in the UK and internationally. Located just south of Norwich in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, Langley is a short 30-minute drive to Norwich International Airport, which flies direct to the international transport hub of Schiphol (a 40-minute flight).
