Marymount International School London is an independent, day and boarding school for girls aged 11-18. We are located on seven-acres of beautiful grounds in Kingston Upon Thames, just 12 miles from central London. International Baccalaureate Curriculum: Marymount was the first all-girls' school in the United Kingdom to adopt the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
Marymount girls are inspired to learn in a creative, collaborative, interdisciplinary, and exploratory environment. Marymount's holistic approach to learning delivers a well-rounded education that encourages critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and participation in a wide array of extracurricular offerings.
Catholic and inclusive: Marymount London was founded in 1955 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
This pioneering approach to the education of girls is something we proudly continue to this day. Whilst we are a Catholic school, we welcome students of all faith backgrounds and those of no faith. Internationally-minded: Our student family is truly international and made up of around 250 students from over 35 nationalities.
80% of our students hold dual nationality and we pride ourselves on the international-mindedness of our whole school community. Small class sizes: With a school community of circa 250 students aged 11-18, we are able to offer a truly personalised and holistic approach to our student's education.
