Sevenoaks School established their own summer programme, run by our own staff, in 2018. Founded in 1432, Sevenoaks School enjoys the distinction of being among the UK's oldest schools, with a tradition of innovation and excellence. We have been co-educational for almost 50 years, and in 1978 we became one of the first schools in the UK to adopt the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the Sixth Form.
We are proud to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people, empowered with the skills to create a better and more peaceful world. Sevenoaks School is recognised globally for academic excellence and curriculum innovation. Our summer programmes offer bright, ambitious students aged from 11-16 a taste of Sevenoaks through inspiring academic courses.

A history of Sevenoaks School In 1432 William Sevenoke died, bequeathing his London properties to the people of Sevenoaks to establish a free grammar school and almshouses for the poor. This was a very unusual bequest for the early fifteenth century, when many people left their possessions to the Church, and makes Sevenoaks one of the oldest secular school foundations in England.
