Leading Co-educational School: Sherfield School offers education for children aged 3 months to 18 years and boarding from 9 years old (Year 5). Location: Situated in Sherfield-on-Loddon, Hampshire - between the towns of Basingstoke and Reading.
45 minutes from Heathrow by car and 45 minutes from central london by train. The school spans over 76 acres of picturesque parkland, featuring modern facilities within a historic 12th-century manor house. Outdoor Opportunities: With a Grade II listed manor house and expansive grounds, students have ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors in the beautiful countryside setting.

Sherfield offers full boarding, weekly and flexi boarding options. We have one mixed house which is modern and purpose built, with en-suite twin rooms for all boarders. The shared house allows for a family atmosphere in which boarders of all ages and nationalities mix well together.
We have two Common Rooms equipped with kitchenettes, sofas, TV, games, a pool table and a table football table. A genuine home away from home

The purpose built boarding house, Archer's Lodge, has 60 en-suite rooms for boarders from Year 4 upwards. The style rooms include internet access, study area, a comfortable bed or bunks, bedside cabinet/chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a spacious en-suite bathroom.
Boys' and girls' bedrooms and bathrooms are located in separate wings for privacy. Boarders have a resident Housemaster, House Parents and other live-in tutors. Further boarding tutors live on school site. The House Master is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of boarders and the boarding staff team work closely with the Housemaster over weekends and evenings.
