St Joseph's College is a traditional British independent school for boys and girls from age 2 to 19. Whilst the majority of students are from the UK, the College also welcomes international students and has a diverse mix of students from countries across the world including France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Malawi, Taiwan, and China.
The College was founded in 1937 and has links with top-ranking universities and employers across the UK. At the heart of St Joseph's is our inspiring Chapel. It captures the spirit ofcommunity which runs through the school, fostering an atmosphere of teamworkand between staff and pupils alike - indeed it can accommodate all 700 of us.

We have two boarding houses on the College site, both within a short walking distance of the main school buildings and surrounded by green fields. Goldrood House is an all-boys boarding house for students ranging from 10-18. It is a beautiful old mansion house that creates a wonderful warm homely atmosphere with the boarding team at the heart of it.
Within the house there is a mixture of dormitory and single rooms that are home for up to 46 boys, several bathrooms, a comfortable TV lounge with lots of new sofas, a games room with a pool table, an air hockey table and a couple of X-Boxes, where you can socialise with friends at the weekends and before and after study during the week.
