The Royal School Wolverhampton — school buildings and grounds

Located in a leafy suburb of Wolverhampton, The Royal is conveniently situated between countryside and the UK's second largest city, Birmingham, giving pupils ample opportunity to experience the rich contrasts of British life. The Royal School was founded in 1850 as an orphanage, becoming a school shortly after in recognition of the power of education to transform young people's lives.

It is a fully co-educational, independent day and boarding school that became a Free School in September, 2016. As a State Boarding School, British students will receive free day tuition, paying only the yearly boarding fees of £14,580 making the school very attractive to families wanting an independent boarding environment for their children It is a small, cohesive community with a friendly atmosphere for both day pupils and boarders alike.

Our strong academic tradition is based upon individual attention and encouragement, as well as excellent pastoral care founded on respect, tolerance and understanding of others.
