Bromsgrove School runs its own summer school programme for international children during the summer holidays. The international summer school programme runs alongside our day activity camps for local British children and activity sessions are undertaken in combined of UK and International children.
Situated just 30 minutes drive from the UK's "second city" Birmingham, Bromsgrove School is set within its own 100 acres of grounds. We are centrally located for international travel to/from Birmingham International (30 minutes drive) and Heathrow Airports (1 hour 40 minutes drive) and to local and national rail and road links.
All of our staff are suitably qualified, with the added advantage of the EAL teachers recruited and vetted by International House Bristol. With world class education and sporting facilities and its own residential, sports and pastoral staff, Bromsgrove International Summer School aims to provide the best possible experience for its students.
Bromsgrove also benefits from HTS (Highly Trusted Status) from the UK Border Agency so we can help with any visa requirements at no extra cost. Academics at Bromsgrove Summer
What pupils study at Bromsgrove Summer — and where it takes them.
The core subject is the main area of study. Students will choose to study either Maths or Business Studies and will have seven core subject classes of 100 minutes each during the two week course. Elective subjects are studied for 70 minutes a day and for a total of seven days during the two week course.
Each student will study a different elective each week based on their preferences, ensuring that the student grasps a wide range of subjects in readiness for life at a UK boarding school. The elective subjects on offer are: Literature and Art, Economics, General Science and Humanities

Accommodation is in single, twin, triple and four/five bed rooms. Each boarding house has a common room and small kitchen. Free Wi-Fi and PCs are available in the boarding houses. Laundry service, three times a week is included in the fee. All Summer School participants will be housed within our newest Boarding Houses in either Oakley, Elmshurst or Mary Windsor.
Our rooms offer comfortable and newly refurbished accommodation in a warm, cosy and secure environment. Each House has 24 hour supervision and pastoral care from Bromsgrove School staff. There will also be medical supervision from Bromsgrove School Health Centre including twice daily clinics available with the nurses.
We can arrange trusted UK guardianship for international families.
