Frensham Heights — campus and grounds

Nestled on 125 acres in the beautiful Surrey Hills just 40 miles from London, Frensham Heights offers a coeducational day and boarding experience - with day students from 3 to 18 and boarders from 11 to 18. We welcome international students from around the world to Frensham on long and short stays.

Entering our centenary year, Frensham continues its legacy of a modern education, where young people grow up without unnecessary, added pressures. We are known for not having a uniform and being on first names, but the truth is, this creates a learning environment which is more natural and allows children to be themselves.

It is therefore unsurprising that our students are happy and thrive at Frensham.

Frensham Heights — boarding house life

Our boarding family not only has its own programme of extra curricular activities and trips but is also totally integrated into our larger day community. Our boarders make up around 30% of all our students, so we get to know all of our residential students really well and they benefit from a very special home-like environment.

We welcome international students, and about 20% of our boarding students come from overseas. This means our international students get to really integrate into the British culture while they're here. Our less formal environment also lends itself to making life long friends so many international students will go home knowing that their Frensham experience will continue well into the future.

Boarding Houses overview Our three boarding houses cater for different age from Year 7 through to the end of Year 13. Our boarders enjoy the experience of moving through Hamilton House (Years 7-9) and Main House (Years 10 and 11) and by the time they get to Roberts House in the Sixth Form are ready for a little more freedom and independence.

Roberts House (Boys and Girls) Roberts House is our Sixth Form Hub. It is home to boarders and Sixth Form day students. Sixth Form notices, social events, study sessions and some classes also take here. It is somewhere students can go for independent study and find a bit of peace and quiet.
