Holmewood House — school buildings and grounds

Holmewood House is regarded as one of the UK's best and leading co-educational day and boarding schools for children aged 3 - 13 set in 32 acres of glorious grounds on the Kent / Sussex border. We have recently refurbished and expanded our excellent Boarding provision and welcome enquiries from capable, ambitious pupils who are engaged and enthusiastic, and want to make the most of the truly exceptional experience on offer.

To facilitate our expansion, we will discuss favourable terms with prospective parents and agents. International pupils enrol with us for anything from half a term (6 weeks) to a full Prep School experience from Year 3-Year 8. Holmewood House has an excellent reputation for securing places at top senior schools nationwide.

We are a feeder to the top selective schools in the South East.
Holmewood House — campus and grounds

Pupils regularly leave us (at age 13) to go to Eton, Harrow, Wellington College, Wycombe Abbey, Benenden and many other top schools. The destination schools for our 2023 Leavers are listed at the end of this section. We are very easy to access from overseas.

From Holmewood House to central London is only 50 minutes by train. We are to Gatwick and Heathrow airports (40 mins and 60 mins away). Our boys and girls boarding houses are a wonderful mix of international and British students. Over half of our current boarders are British, which encourages and supports our overseas students with their English.
