We pride ourselves on the -knit environment we've created, ensuring your child feels at home and settles in quickly. As the second oldest school in the UK and the oldest Cathedral Choir School, King's Rochester boasts an impressive heritage.
A genuine home away from home
King's Rochester is a second home for boarders aged between 11 and 18 who make up around 15% of our students. Most are full boarders and come from over 10 different countries so that the common in the Houses is English. King's has School House for boarders and is a central parts of the School and fully integrated with the day Houses.
School House can cater for up to 34 pupils 11 and 18 years, which creates a family atmosphere where everyone knows each other and makes friends very quickly with all age . It also means that staff get to know pupils well and can help them to settle in really quickly.
