Boarding is available from the age of 13 years (Third Form or Year 9) and every year the school welcomes approximately 100 new boarding pupils to their seven Boarding Houses. Children talk fondly about the joy of belonging to a community, forging friendships, learning to be independent and having access to a diverse array of opportunities.
Co-curricular activities offer a wonderful chance for learning and personal development outside the academic syllabus.

Examination results are at the core of a Lancing education but there is so much more on offer and the students excel outside of the classroom, broadening their skills and finding activities that excite them. Importantly, Lancing College is a happy where boys and girls are encouraged to fulfil their potential.
Pupils are respected and treated as individuals and the school provides an excellent level of pastoral care. There is a strong feeling of community and a sense of purpose and positivity; quiet confidence and tolerance rule. The school produces well-rounded, accomplished individuals who are fully prepared for the next step of their lives.
