St George's School, established in 1888, is a highly acclaimed all-girls day and boarding school located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The school continues to empower ambitious young women . The school provides a personalised, supportive approach that brings out the best in every student.
Expert teachers and a stimulating curriculum build each girl's academic skills, confidence, and English fluency. "When I was choosing schools back home, Edinburgh was recommended by my cousin who attended University of Edinburgh. I soon found that living in the boarding house suits me as it's so easy to just walk into school each morning!
My two favourite subjects right now are mechanics and design and manufacturing - I really enjoyed a memorable lesson where we disassembled an entire toaster!
I'm also part of the Sixth Form committee, which is mainly about improving life for Sixth Formers here in different ways, and participated in the UK space design competition. The brief was to design a structure in Mars and the St George's team won the regional event.
Finally, one of the most helpful things at the school is the amount of help offered for the UCAS forms - from checking our personal statements to the application process itself."
