These include visits to Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, Glasgow and St Andrews. 3. We do not have exeats, with the exception of two weekends in the first term of our Junior House, Riley. 4. Our day pupils are part of the same Houses as our boarders.
A genuine home away from home

We have seven Senior Boarding Houses and one Junior House. Each pupil is a member of a House which in itself creates a strong sense of community. Each House incorporates boarders and day pupils. Everyone has a part to play in the life of the House and there are many opportunities to represent the House.
Prefects are involved in the organisation of day to day life and the resident Housemaster/Housemistress, and a team of academic tutors, ensure that all pupils receive appropriate and guidance in all aspects of school life. There are separate boys and girls senior houses.
