This peer system is an integral part of the pastoral care, providing additional layers of guidance and fostering a family-like atmosphere within the boarding houses. Prep/Homework Prep begins at 17:15 Third and and Fourth Forms complete prep in the school library: 17:15 - 18:45 At 19:15, second prep session begins for 5th and Lower 6th Boarders' activities Boarder's Activities During activity time, some form of recreational activity is encouraged and this may involve: Use of the school sports facilities (Gym, Sports Centre and Squash Courts) Use of music practice facilities.

3rd and 4th form pupils should all attend boarder's activity time and hand phones in on arrival. For 5th, L6th and U6th Pupils Boarder's activity time is optional. Saturdays Boys are actively encouraged to partake in the school's cocurricular programme be this through partaking in sports fixtures across a range of sports or musical practice and preparation.

The construction of a new, superbly-equipped boarding house, opened in 2013, has enabled us to substantially increase the number of boarding places available, to a total of 120.
