Situated on 128-acres of Surrey countryside, 20 miles south of Central London, ACS Cobham enrols over 1000 students aged between 2 and 18 - Early Childhood through High School - offering both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and an American curriculum, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

ACS has over 40 years experience teaching IB, with students regularly achieving a perfect IB score - 45 points. Our Campus features an Interactive Learning Centre, division specific libraries, a panoramic dining hall and a stunning new Performing Arts Centre with a 510 seat theatre.
Campus sports facilities include six tennis courts, an Olympic-sized track, playing fields for football, rugby and baseball and an all weather astro turf pitch with competition flood lights. A state-of-the-art Sports Centre houses a 25-metre competition indoor swimming pool, basketball/volleyball show courts, dance and fitness studios, and a café.

Transitional English 9 and 10 courses are available for EAL students with an upper intermediate level of English, to enable them to acquire the level needed to access the rigorous curriculum of the IBDP or AP programmes. Grades 1 to 8 focus on regularly scheduled, small group sessions, offered in of some core subjects - usually Modern Foreign Languages.
Our aim is for students to reach the proficiency commensurate with their age and level. By 8th Grade, students are expected to be at an intermediate level of proficiency.

Boarding houses are an integral part of the school community, with separate-wing accommodation for over 150 boys and girls aged between 12 and 18. A true 'home from home', we celebrate unity and cultural diversity in equal measure and develop internationalism in preparation for life within our increasingly mobile world society.

Woodlands Boarding House opened in August 2017 and boasts a contemporary design and layout - extending over four floors with high levels of natural light and ventilation, and commanding views across our woodlands. There is a triple-height atrium, multiple social areas, kitchenettes, lounges and study areas, and extensive landscaped areas and a BBQ.
