Brentwood — campus and grounds

Welcome to Brentwood School, one of the UK's leading independent day and boarding schools for boys and girls aged 3 to 18, with a rich history spanning nearly 500 years. Located in the heart of Brentwood, our campus is surrounded by 75 acres of playing fields and gardens.

Our values - Virtue, Learning, Manners - were first penned in 1622 are at the heart of everything we do. They guide our core purpose in helping young people discover and develop their talents with both self-assurance and humility. We prepare our students for a fast-paced and ever-changing world.

They will need to solve problems we don't even know about (in addition to those we do) and many will take on jobs that don't yet exist.
Brentwood — the school grounds

Despite our deep roots, we embrace innovation. For example, in September 2024, we launched a Specialist Music Programme, providing rigorous training and assessment for aspiring musicians within the school curriculum. And, in September 2025, we will open the doors on a state-of-the-art sector-leading boarding house.

The fully-accessible house, which has been years in the planning, will be subdivided into three main sections; a girls' and boys' boarding house and a central shared facility including new dining and communal areas and an outdoor courtyard and dedicated landscaped social space.
