Framlingham College — campus and grounds

Framlingham College - Where every pupil creates their own story. At Framlingham College we believe in the individual. There is no typical Framlinghamian, no singular path that we take: we are academics, actors, musicians, expeditioners, sports people, innovators, scientists, ruminators, decision makers, story tellers, teammates, artists, fun lovers, nurturers and thought provokers.

Often, we are many things within one. But we are all individual, each with our own story. We are a forward-thinking, vibrant boarding and day school, set in the inspiring Suffolk countryside where boys and girls aged 3 to 18 grow, learn and develop into ambitious global citizens ready to embrace the challenges of their rapidly evolving adult world.

Education is about readying each young for the world.
Framlingham College — the school grounds

We are aspirational for every pupil and are committed to instilling a life-long curiosity and a love of enquiry. When a young joins Framlingham College, they are welcomed because of who they are. They are valued for their experience, their history, their ambition and their belief in their future.

Our job is to encourage them to seek out challenge, to embrace opportunity and to give them the time to reflect and to learn from each experience. In doing so, we enable them to better understand themselves. Our pupils' paths will be varied.

At the senior school we have seven boarding houses: four boys houses (Garrett, Kerrison, Stradbroke and Rendlesham) and three girls houses (Moreau, Pembroke and Victoria). The day students are integrated into this boarding system so that there isn't a divide between boarding and non-boarding.

At the prep school there aren't separate boarding houses, but male and female dorms. Victoria House (Girls) Housemistress: Lucy Collishaw Lucy Collishaw is taking up the role of Housemistress from September 2022 having joined the Senior School in 2017 as Head of Netball.
