Marymount International School London is an independent, day and boarding school for girls aged 11-18. We are located on seven-acres of beautiful grounds in Kingston Upon Thames, just 12 miles from central London. International Baccalaureate Curriculum: Marymount was the first all-girls' school in the United Kingdom to adopt the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
Marymount girls are inspired to learn in a creative, collaborative, interdisciplinary, and exploratory environment. Marymount's holistic approach to learning delivers a well-rounded education that encourages critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and participation in a wide array of extracurricular offerings.
Catholic and inclusive: Marymount London was founded in 1955 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
This pioneering approach to the education of girls is something we proudly continue to this day. Whilst we are a Catholic school, we welcome students of all faith backgrounds and those of no faith. Internationally-minded: Our student family is truly international and made up of around 250 students from over 35 nationalities.

Boarders feel at home on the picturesque campus, which is only 20 minutes from central London via public transport. The lines between day and boarding students are intentionally blurred to create a unified and inclusive student body.

A genuine home away from home
Marymount London has three boarding houses: Gailhac, Butler, and St. Joseph's. Students are assigned to a boarding house based on their . The majority of rooms are shared, predominantly between two students. Some rooms accommodate up to four students, which are used for girls in younger year .
There is also a limited number of single rooms, which can be requested by students in Grade 12. All boarding houses have newly refurbished, open-plan living spaces, which are frequently used by students for socialising. Meals are provided for all boarders, but students may also make use of the boarding house kitchen spaces.
