Prior's Field — the school grounds

Prior's Field has been offering girls a distinctive route to high achievement since 1902. It's a school with an extraordinary educational, literary and scientific heritage, bequeathed by its founder Julia Huxley (née Arnold). It's a school where girls are encouraged to grasp the opportunities created for them - from designing and racing electric cars, debating at the Cambridge Union and exhibiting their art in national galleries, to setting up businesses in the Sixth Form.

The school is situated in 42 acres of Surrey parkland, offering a safe and rural environment, but is just minutes from the A3 to London and the south coast. Close to Godalming and Guildford town stations (the local train to London Waterloo takes just over 40 minutes), Prior's Field is also conveniently placed between Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Asa relatively small school of under 400 pupils, aged 11-18, our commitment is to providing space for individuality, initiative and enterprise to blossom.
