Scarborough College — around the school

We are a thriving boarding and day school, steeped in history, in a beautiful location, enjoying proximity to the North York Moors, the Wolds and the Yorkshire Coast. At Scarborough College we believe that all pupils have hidden talents, and through our exciting curriculum your child will be inspired to discover a love of learning, develop a 'can do' attitude and become the best possible version of themselves.

We offer an outstanding education in a climate of aspiration, from the Pre School at 3 years old, through GCSEs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Sixth Form, as well as offering an exceptional range of co-curricular activities. Our nationally recognised Yorkshire Grit programme is a vital part of the curriculum designed to ensure that pupils are challenged beyond the classroom and become resilient, collaborative, compassionate and adventurous individuals.

The recent inspection report emphasises that Scarborough College is a family; our staff are committed to providing an individualised journey for every pupil.

I would encourage you to visit the College to see for yourself. On my first visit, I did not want to leave; I was inspired by the incredible warmth, exceptional friendliness and family ethos of this great school. I knew this was a where my own children would flourish and I am sure that you will feel the same when you visit.
