We are experts in all-girl boarding and education; we have been tailoring everything we do to optimise girls' experience and outcomes for 175 years. Surrounded by acres of parkland in rural Oxfordshire on the edge of the Cotswolds, but only 1 hour from London and 25 minutes from Oxford, girls are safe and secure - in every sense of the words - to be themselves and find their in the world.
Unlike many schools, here at Tudor Hall the vast majority of our pupils are boarders and so the school day, week and year has been designed to offer the richest possible boarding experience; this means that school life benefits from extended days and full weekends for everyone.
Tudor girls are encouraged to take risks, develop a growth mindset and 'to aim high'.
The academic results are excellent, produced by young women who have been selected for places at the school not just on their academic ability but also their character and spirit. This creates a community where everybody recognises and celebrates its members as individuals.
Staff work with pupils to ensure that each is encouraged and supported to do her best. The girls are ambitious and determined to make the most of the many opportunities in school and further afield. What the school is known for? humanities, the arts and practical subjects. Key Stage 4 (age 14-16)21 GCSE subjects offered. For the two-year GCSE course in Years 10 and 11, all pupils take the core subjects of English Language and Literature and Mathematics. They choose their Science pathway (Dual Science or Triple Science) along with four additional subjects from our very broad choice of GCSEs.
Pre A Level Programme (age 15 or 16) Designed for pupils aged 15-16 who have not GCSEs or for those aged 16+ who need to improve their level of English in order to do A Levels. It will equip pupils with the skills, qualifications and confidence they need to enter our Sixth Form and progress to a leading university.

Todd and IIs day girls are dropped off at Todd House in the mornings and all Todds use this house as their base during the school day. To allow a sense of progression, IIs day girls and boarders have a dedicated common room in Main School during the day.
Boarding in IIIs to UVI (Year 9 to Year 13)- A closed weekend at the start and end of every term (and before the October Half Term in the Autumn Term) is a tradition for the IIIs to the Upper Sixth, when all girls take part in a range of community-based activities- Full weekends and a comprehensive programme of co-curricular activities remains a core feature of Tudor life Exeats and Open Exeat stays Time away from school is also important, and there is generally one full exeat each half term; an exeat means that girls leave school from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening - they might choose to go home, or to stay with friends, family or their guardian.

Special notes to agents about entry to the school In recognition of ongoing partnership and commitment, Tudor Hall has decided to increase its commission fees from 10% to 15%, (including VAT). We believe that this adjustment aligns with the exceptional service provided by agents.
