A leading day and boarding school for girls aged 11-18 set in beautiful Surrey countryside, Woldingham develops courageous, confident and compassionate young women through our empowered learning approach and values-driven ethos. Our rural location is easy to get to.
With Woldingham station adjoining the school grounds, London is just 30 minutes by train and the school is easily accessible for families in Surrey, Kent and Sussex. The stunning mansion at the heart of the school sits alongside purpose-built science labs, humanities and hubs, studios for art, drama and music, a professional standard auditorium seating 630, and a state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre, which includes a lecture theatre, collaboration room and a café.

See our Boarding page. At Woldingham students board by year group in different locations around the school. Some year board in the beautiful Main House whilst others are located in modern, purpose built boarding houses. All provide comfortable, homely environments in which the students can totally relax, in the care of our experienced housemistresses.
Our Year 10 housemistress is also our International Coordinator and is dedicated to the welfare of our international students, who are encouraged to embrace and celebrate their individual cultures. Throughout the school year important holidays, such as Chinese New Year, are recognised with activities across the school and in the boarding houses.
At Woldingham students board by year group in well equipped, comfortable boarding houses. Students are looked after by our experienced and caring boarding staff, who understand how to help them settle in quickly and make the most of school life.
In Years 7 & 8 girls from the same year share rooms in of four, which they are encouraged to decorate and personalise. There are shared bathroom and shower facilities per corridor, which include privacy cubicles where girls can change and hang up their clothes, towel etc.
We can arrange trusted UK guardianship for international families.
